About The Position

The Account Manager is responsible for building relationships with customers, growing sales, and optimizing opportunities to introduce new products within their territory. The Relief Account Manager fills in for Account Managers during times of vacation, leave of absence, and/or position vacancy.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with people at levels of management and staff.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Safety first mentality, thorough knowledge of company safety policies.
  • Exemplifies a positive attitude of teamwork and collaboration with all SESS departments.
  • The ability to work autonomously while building account relationships and representing SESS in a professional and dedicated manner.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
  • Three to Five years of beverage industry or brand management preferred, specific industry experience a plus.
  • Good computer skills, able to work with multiple software programs and learn new systems when needed.
  • Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 45 lbs. repetitively, and up to 167 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to stand, lift, twist, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the workday. Must be able to get in and out of vehicles multiple times a day.
  • Ability to work in different customer environments, mostly indoors, but will make calls during inclement weather when needed.
  • Occasional use of powered equipment to move merchandise at accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Calls on new and existing accounts to add new products and increase overall sales volume.
  • Sets up sampling and conducts promotions within their accounts and during special events. May assist with special events in any SESS territory.
  • Maintains quality control, conducts price checks.
  • Places orders, maintains stock levels, arranges special deliveries when needed.
  • Supervise and support draught dock activities to include keeping accurate records for incoming products.
  • Attend sales meetings, collaborates with teammates.
