About the role The Reliability Systems Lead is responsible for supporting and advancing maintenance and reliability systems across North America manufacturing operations. This role focuses on reliability processes, SAP PM governance, data integrity, analytics, and continuous improvement to improve asset performance and reduce downtime. Responsible for providing technical guidance, consultation, and support to effectively SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP-PM) software application in alignment with the Kerry Asset Management System (KAMS) maintenance best practices. Training, coaching, and support for the manufacturing plants in North America region to deploy and utilize the software functionality in compliance with Kerry engineering best practices. Provide guidance to plants on inventory optimization techniques. Data accuracy review to meet Corporate/Regional standards. Support the design of an effective Preventive Maintenance Strategy. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence through knowledge and partnership rather than direct authority.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, manufacturing engineering, or asset management.
  • Required Strong hands-on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), including configuration understanding, master data management, PM optimization, and work order processes.
  • Working knowledge of reliability methodologies (RCM, RCA, FMEA, TPM, PdM).
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites as required.

  • Experience with CMMS governance and standardization across multiple sites preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as system lead for SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), ensuring standardized configuration, data integrity, and best-practice utilization across sites.
  • Drive consistency in work order management, preventive maintenance (PM) programs, asset hierarchies, task lists, and master data governance.
  • Partner with sites to improve planning, scheduling, backlog management, and maintenance execution processes.
  • Support SAP PM enhancements, upgrades, testing, and user training as needed.
  • Support deployment and sustainment of reliability methodologies including
  • Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)
  • Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM)
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Asset Criticality Analysis
  • FMEA
  • Assist sites in improving asset availability, reducing unplanned downtime, and optimizing maintenance cost.
  • Develop and maintain standard KPIs and dashboards to measure maintenance performance.
  • Leverage SAP PM data and other systems to generate insights and drive fact-based decision-making.
  • Monitor data quality and compliance with maintenance standards.
  • Develop reporting tools and performance scorecards to support site and network reliability improvement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in maintenance systems and reliability processes.
  • Support training and knowledge sharing related to SAP PM and reliability best practices.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Procurement to align maintenance systems with business needs.
  • Stay current on industry best practices in CMMS utilization and asset management.
