People • Customers • Trust We are seeking resumes for a Reliability Manager in our International Falls, Minnesota facility which is a Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America. Responsibilities: The function of this position is to provide direction and leadership to ensure the maintenance, repair, and installation of plant mechanical and electrical equipment and facilities meet department and mill objectives. This position is responsible for developing and implementing plans to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and efficient utilization of maintenance personnel. Support the operating departments by providing maintenance input on long-term equipment decisions and maintaining the existing equipment to ensure maximum uptime. Arrange for supporting services from outside contractors and equipment required to meet department needs. Assure selection, training, and evaluation of hourly and salary maintenance personnel. Perform performance reviews and salary administration for supervisors. Provide input to the daily and weekly planning to insure work schedules and manpower assignments are cost effective. Establish, implement, and monitor the preventive maintenance program to reduce unscheduled downtime. The primary focus of this position will be on the mill wide reliability improvement process, and leading the reliability team.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree required or equivalent experience with five to ten years demonstrated management and leadership abilities.
  • Eight to ten years experience and proven technical knowledge of maintenance/engineering functions, pulp and paper manufacturing environment experience is preferred.
  • A strong background in Reliability and Planning is required.
  • Must also demonstrate strong customer focus, good communication skills, positive attitude and the ability to perform in a motivated team environment.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a valid and current driver’s license.

Nice To Haves
