As Reliability / Maintenance - Electrical II Technician your primary goal is to ensure the safety and reliability of plant production equipment. You will construct, maintain, and repair facilities systems, buildings, and equipment. This is an essential role imperative for plant efficiency. This is how you'll do it... Work independently and focus on safety while performing maintenance and repairs to production equipment and facility infrastructure Minimize or eliminate machine downtime or equipment failure Perform scheduled and on demand maintenance and repairs on operating equipment Maintain and order parts to ensure adequate stock is available and assessable when needed Diagnose and repair mechanical problems and minor electrical issues Ensure efficiency of production equipment Assist in the installation of equipment to meet specifications Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, etc. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical and/or electrical equipment or systems Instruct and train operators on basic equipment care and repair Duties will vary greatly from day to day with variations in the environment Practices and complies with all plant and maintenance department safety procedures What You'll Bring…. Solid knowledge of industrial mechanics principles including pneumatics, electric motors, controls, and wiring The ability to find and order replacement parts using catalogs, phone, and internet Excellent organizational skills in managing workload, caring for tools and maintaining records Basic PC skills including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe work practices A willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime based on company needs Mathematics knowledge relating to maintenance activities; ability to verify dimensions, and diagrams for assembly, disassembly and troubleshooting purposes. Experience in repairing, constructing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment including installing, calibrating, and testing electrical building infrastructure, control systems, and equipment, cutting, threading, bending, coupling, and strapping electrical conduit wiring, troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and inspecting circuits / wiring for shielding and grounding, testing electrical equipment for safety and efficiency Prior experience in a GMP manufacturing environment Proven ability to work in a fast-moving environment Strong, effective verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate non-verbally with team members speaking many languages Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities Physical Demands: The below list outlines the physical requirements of all team members in this role: Use hands to perform tasks and complete required paperwork Constantly stand and walk about work area for duration of shift Ability to lift 35 - 50 lbs. throughout the day Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach and service machinery Wearing of proper PPE including hearing protection, safety glasses and safety shoes for duration of shift
