Additional information about the company can be found online at www.bwpipelines.com. We are currently looking for a Reliability Intern for our Owensboro, KY office. POSITION DESCRIPTION: BWP’s Reliability and Data Analytics department is seeking a summer engineering intern. Throughout the course of the summer the candidate will learn reliability engineering concepts and work to apply them across the pipeline system. The candidate will support the development of problem, cause, remedy failure codes for various asset types and components to be populated into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Other tasks will include validating asset downtime with field operations, assisting with continuous improvement suggestions initiated from field operations and verifying measurement related assets that are planning to be added to the CMMS.

Requirements

  • Currently Majoring in an engineering discipline: mechanical, chemical, electrical etc.
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities
