The Experience: Project Scopes: Each intern is assigned a specific project that contributes value to the Company. What You’ll Be Doing: As a Product Reliability Intern, you will determine the Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for various irrigation controller warranty returns. You will be tasked with developing a solution for one of the reoccurring failures and testing your solution using available test equipment in our lab areas and be encouraged to develop test procedures and design basic circuits as needed. You will create reports on your work to help develop documentation and presentation skills. What You’ll Learn: Through hands on circuit analysis, independent research, working with a mentor and communicating with the rest of the Product Reliability team, you will: Learn how Hunter controller products work Examine and troubleshoot many controllers to determine the common failure modes and root causes of these failure modes. Create a test/situation to reproduce the failure and test a resolution to the specific failure modes. Develop skills in clearly documenting your work and being able to present it
