About The Position

INTERN, RELIABILITY ENGINEERING (La Crosse, WI) Hourly Wage $30.00 | Anticipated start date of May 2026 Extract and analyze reliability data from the EAM/CMMS to identify trends and areas for improvement. Use data analysis tools to process large datasets, create reports on asset performance, and suggest reliability improvement initiatives based on findings. Update, cleanse and import asset data to support organizational objectives. The Impact You Will Make in This Role: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : Data Analysis: Extract and analyze maintenance and reliability data from the EAM/CMMS to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Data Management: Perform data quality checks, validations, cleansing, and migrations. Reporting: Develop and generate reports to communicate findings and recommendations to the maintenance and reliability team. Asset Management: Assist in the evaluation and optimization of asset management strategies to enhance the reliability and performance of utility assets. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to support ongoing maintenance and reliability projects. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of data, analysis, findings, and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Student pursuing a position in reliability, industrial, or mechanical engineering or a related engineering technology field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
  • Must possess strong mathematical, organizational, verbal and written, communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, MS PowerBI).
  • Familiarity with EAM/CMMS systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

  • Preference given to candidates in their junior year of a 4-year program.
  • Knowledge of the power generation or transmission industry is beneficial.
