The Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the longevity and dependability of products, systems, or processes by identifying potential issues, analyzing failure modes, and implementing solutions to enhance performance and minimize downtime. The primary goal of a Reliability Engineer is to ensure that products meet both safety and performance standards throughout their lifecycle, from design through production to end use. Develop the necessary work instructions, checklists, and other quality documents, including, but not limited to, inspection test plans. They use data-driven methods, risk assessments, and industry best practices to optimize system reliability, perform root cause analysis, and establish maintenance schedules to maximize asset uptime. This role typically involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and maintenance departments, to ensure reliability is integrated into all phases of the product lifecycle.
