Role Definition Supports electrical process maintenance activities in a manufacturing setting and leads electrical projects when assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree: Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Also, the ability to collaborate with multiple functional groups
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application, or operation.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PowerBI)
  • Expertise working with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens
  • Experience troubleshooting advanced electrical problems of heavy industrial machinery (primarily foundry or machining equipment)

Responsibilities

  • Performing or assisting in routine maintenance or construction work.
  • Serving as first line of support for advanced electrical problems and work requests.
  • Assisting and supporting manufacturing and other related departments.
  • Mentoring and developing new electrical technicians within the maintenance department.
