About The Position

Position Summary: This position will be responsible for reliability testing for xEV products within the America’s Region. The Reliability Engineer will provide support to regional sites for the development of test systems, collaborate on the development of test methods, develop testing strategies for both inside and outside reliability to meet requirements analyze improvements of the current testing systems and advise continuous improvement options to management, and collect and analyze testing data for both internal and external requirements.

Requirements

  • 4-year College Degree in Engineering with 4g+ years related work experience in manufacturing OR 2- year Degree in Engineering Technology with 6+ years related work experience in manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T), print interpretation
  • Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Schematics and component part specifications
  • Ability to understand and explain component and circuit functions in relation to overall product design
  • Familiarity with environmental/life cycle testing equipment and ability to fabricate fixtures and tooling, both mechanically and electrically
  • Intermediate experience required in Windows, MSWord, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Make sound business decisions, exercise good judgment and maintain high level of motivation
  • Maintain effectiveness in high visibility situations, handle multiple functions efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization needed
  • Confers with and prepares reports for upper management

  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment according to 6S

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience in automotive industry, with emphasis in electro/mechanical device
  • Previous experience leading team members
  • Knowledge of EV parts and their components
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems such as IATF16949, PPAP, NPI (New Product Introduction), APQP
  • Experience with development of SAP, Process Operations Standards, etc.
  • Well organized, attention to detail and able to handle multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to prepare and present technical information to all levels of management and customers verbally and written
