Champions Safety in Every Aspect of the Position Actively participates in Daily Standard Work (Daily Safety Talks (Risk of the Shift), Daily Review of Production / Equipment Performance, Maintenance Daily Briefing, Etc.) Ensure a high level of awareness for Pixelle’s Safety Policy Ensure Environmental Systems Process Awareness and Compliance Understands and follows Company Policies Brainstorm and drive continuous improvement initiatives in conjunction with operational teams to reduce downtime Identifies SOP Opportunities – Partners with Operations and Maintenance Team Members to create and follow a continuous improvement approach to Standard Work Identifies and recommends new technologies aimed at enhancing reliability strategies Develops criticalities for new equipment to maintain the Asset Criticality Matrix Facilitate development of maintenance strategies for equipment Define scope and develop Return on Investment (ROI) analysis for modification work as assigned Champions Spring Grove Mill RCFA process by leading investigations and ensuring action items are implemented in a timely manner Supports Continuous Process Improvement of precision maintenance, predictive / preventative maintenance, and Operator Basic Care PM Optimization – Routinely review PMs and work orders with follow-up work from PMs to determine if scope and/or frequency should be adjusted Assists Operations in Development of Critical Spares List Project Management as Assigned Completes Special Assignments as Directed

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Ability to speak effectively in team settings
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Must be able to adapt to changing job task priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have advance written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft technical report and documents
  • Advance computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, centralized databases, email, etc.
  • Experience with SAP or other CMMS software
  • Individual must have a strong safety mindset
  • Ability to work both independently and lead teams with diverse technical backgrounds.
  • Ability to wear respirator safety equipment and protective clothing as required by prevailing condition.
  • Ability to read, interpret, apply, and create information from files, drawings, catalogs, reports, and manuals
  • Attends and participates in the appropriate training for the use of fire extinguishing equipment and notification procedures should a small, containable fire ignite in the work area.
  • Serves as a member of the Pixelle Industrial Fire Team
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
