About The Position

As a Reliability Engineer II here at Solstice, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the overall reliability and performance of our products. Supporting a dynamic reliability engineering team, you will develop and implement comprehensive reliability strategies, plans, and processes. In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of our products by analyzing product failure data, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve reliability issues. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will conduct reliability testing and provide technical guidance to support the team and stakeholders. Your strategic technical capabilities will shape and implement robust reliability engineering processes, driving a culture of continuous improvement. You will report directly to our Reliability Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Metropolis, IL.

Responsibilities

  • Define, track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Lifecycle Cost
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability improvements and incorporate reliability in all phases of the equipment lifecycle
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to address underlying causes of equipment failures
  • Ensure all reliability activities comply with environmental, safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of reliability and safety excellence
