Support and execute reliability tests on HVAC components, process data to identify issues. Support and maintain reliability metrics and standards for continuous product improvement. Working in a R&D facility in conjunction with Lab testing personnel and collaborating with other engineering departments throughout the life cycle of products. Requirements

• ABET Accredited Engineering Degree
• Four-year ABET accredited degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree in Applied Sciences.
• 1-2 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
• Communicates effectively in written and spoken form
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrates excellent multitasking and organizational skills
• Works effectively as a team member in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completion of product qualification test plans, including functional, reliability, and durability testing.
• Conducts production reliability tests and methodologies to anticipate failures.
• Evaluates product performance, history, and failure trends to determine sources of poor component performance.
• Determines reliability requirements of components and systems to achieve company, customer, and any governmental agency reliability objectives under the supervision of a senior Reliability Engineer.
• Conducts reliability analysis and works with the Reliability team to ensure the products designed can meet reliability specifications.
• Collaborates with the engineering team and seek opportunities to develop new/improve existing durability test methodology to enhance product development efficiency
• Supports root cause analysis and resolution of issues found during testing and on returned products from the field.
• Reviews code and engineering standards
