Role Overview: The Relative Support Case Manager Supervisor directs and supervises a team that provides targeted and timely services related to kinship placement and support. The team works to decrease kinship disruptions, increase the availability of kinships, and educate kinships on the polcies and procedures of DCS, and establishes resource connections to sustain them through the lifespans of the cases. The team also works to enhance kinship understanding of children's needs, as well as their own needs, to create a more successful placement and decrease disruption. This position works primarily from the Indianapolis North DCS Office and will serve Marion County, and surrounding central Indiana counties as needed.
