About The Position

We have an exciting opening at our Danville branch for a Relationship Specialist.  In this role, you will cultivate strong relationships with our members and community to improve their quality of life and financial well-being.  You are responsible for supporting the member experience with opening or maintaining accounts, deposits, loans, and investment accounts and actively listening to our members so you can recommend solutions that meet their needs and resolve any concerns.  

To be successful in this role you will need to be energetic and personable with previous banking experience.  Enjoy interacting and providing a positive experience for our members.  Have strong attention to detail and highly organized.  You are self-motivated, eager to learn and take on new challenges.

Requirements

• 2 years in the banking/credit union industry.
• High school diploma or bachelor’s or equivalent.
• Computer savvy and able to navigate multiple applications and systems.

Nice To Haves

• Lending and sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the features and benefits of credit union products and services and retail and digitals systems.
• Actively participate in marketing and promotional initiatives of the credit union.
• Open new and servicing existing consumer and business accounts
• Process loan applications but not limited to, signature loans, auto loans, day notes, and credit cards; close and disburse loans; refer loan protection products on all loans processed.
• Process member transactions whether at the drive-thru or Teller line.
