About The Position

The Relationship Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing and supporting casino events, promotions, and marketing initiatives, while delivering exceptional guest service that builds loyalty, increases visitation, and enhances the overall gaming experience.

Requirements

  • Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a casino or marketing capacity
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English, both in oral and written form
  • Have interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts
  • Strong time management skills, with a proven ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks and meet conflicting deadlines
  • Must be self-motivated, hard-working, and well-organized
  • Strong sense of design and creativity are a must along with being detail oriented
  • A strong sense of project ownership from inception to final execution
  • hands-on expertise with Microsoft Office Suite of products and applications
  • Ability to integrate traditional communications strategies into online media tactics, knowledge and experience with digital media, online tools, and the use of analytics tools to measure traffic and conversion preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, project management efficacy -- highly organized, results-oriented, and able to take initiative and lead projects
  • Ability to work independently and with a team; ability to manage multiple projects and staff, including freelancers and vendors
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and subordinates
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company appearance standards
  • Effective and positive communication skills in English
  • Take the initiative to solve problems autonomously-- always focus on solution-oriented discussions and executions
  • Demonstrate an ability to self-solve and/or collaborate across multiple constituencies to resolve complex problems through clean design and concise user experience

Responsibilities

  • Independently oversee the coordination and execution of all weekly casino promotions
  • Perform general clerical duties, modify documents, memos, audits, and emails in support of department
  • Participate in short and long-term planning aligned with goals
  • Communicate information quickly and accurately while responding to questions and concerns
  • Prepare collateral for casino events and promotions
  • Uphold and communicate SOP for casino events and promotions
  • Track input and feedback from other marketing functions on calendar plans
  • Multitask on several projects, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors
  • Build guests' offers and promotions through the player tracking software
  • Uphold a positive attitude in both a customer facing and team setting
  • Work independently and with the marketing team on creative design solutions that are based on strategy and ROI
  • Maintain to-do lists to ensure optimal performance of events and promotions
  • Assist in campaign strategy and the creation of new marketing opportunities
  • Maintain a competitive analysis of competitors and industry trends
  • Work effectively with others and other departments to streamline current processes and procedures
  • Maintain marketing calendars, timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution
  • Support an atmosphere that invites guests to make Virgin Hotels Las Vegas their choice for entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to other team members to provide superior guest service
  • Formulate, design, and follow through on rules, processes, and policies in accordance with VHLV rules and regulations
  • Understand regulatory requirements and abide by the regulations that govern the marketing and direct marketing functions
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing
  • Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the Nevada Gaming Control Board
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of marketing programs, guest information, and databases
  • Establish an effective working relationship with all operating departments
  • Periodically meet with Virgin Hotels Las Vegas leadership, departmental directors, and property leadership as necessary
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc
  • Enforce all property, corporate, and departmental policies and procedures
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
