As a Relationship Manager – VP, you will manage and grow a portfolio of commercial and commercial real estate clients while strengthening long-term banking relationships. This role focuses on expanding loans, deposits, and fee income through strategic client engagement and collaboration with internal partners. You’ll play a key role in driving market growth while advising clients on financial strategies that support their business success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of commercial banking or B2B sales experience with demonstrated business development and client management success.
  • Knowledge of commercial lending, credit analysis, and non-borrowing banking products.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to lawfully drive if required for client meetings.

Nice To Haves

  • 8+ years of commercial banking or B2B sales experience with a strong track record of portfolio growth and credit structuring expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial and commercial real estate clients while ensuring strong relationship retention and client satisfaction.
  • Drive loan, deposit, and fee income growth through proactive prospecting, client outreach, and partnerships with centers of influence.
  • Partner with internal teams to cross-sell banking solutions including Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, and Private Banking.
  • Analyze financial statements and business performance with portfolio partners to evaluate credit opportunities and structure loan solutions.
  • Present credit recommendations and participate in the loan approval process to support sound lending decisions.
  • Ensure portfolio risk management and compliance with bank credit policy, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines.
  • Represent the bank in community and business organizations to strengthen market presence and generate referral opportunities.
