The position of Relationship Manager within the North American Asset Owner Segment is responsible for a number of State Street Asset Owner clients based in the United States. The role presents an opportunity to engage with senior executives both internally and with industry leading asset owners to help shape and drive State Street’s strategy in servicing our key longstanding relationships. As part of the remit, the Relationship Manager will cultivate a solid understanding of the client’s business and the services provided by State Street, with the objective of optimizing client satisfaction, ensuring that the client experiences a best of breed service at State Street while identifying and driving new business opportunities to close. The RM both leads and collaborates with their Sales and/or Senior Relationship Manager counterpart in commercial negotiations, and will ensure compliance with contract terms. The RM will also assist in analyzing and managing the client P&L, and will oversee relationship financials. Expected leadership behaviors include an ability to contribute to team excellence, excellent collaboration and communication skills, and willingness to drive strategy and engage with the client across its global locations.
