Participate in business development activities, including applicable community-based business and social programs/gatherings. Emphasis on providing a Six Diamond loan experience to our customers to establish long-term relationships and ongoing referral source. Assigned to work within our Bay Area Branch Network while supporting and partnering with the Branch staff to identify and develop business opportunities. Network with local Realtors, CPA’s, Financial Planners, Builder/Developers to create success through partnership opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Require 3 years residential lending experience
  • Must possess a basic understanding of credit, the loan process and underwriting guidelines
  • Require extensive background in customer service and sales business development, with a proven track record of success
  • Ability to read financial statements, bank statements and budgets
  • Must possess strong interpersonal sales and service attributes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer negotiations and the ability to effectively partner with other departments/individuals throughout the Bank
  • Proficient computer skills in standard software and technology

Responsibilities

  • Source new mortgage customers with a special emphasis on purchase money financing, HELOC’s and refinance products
  • Provide application processing, consumer communications, and other duties as required to complete mortgage applications
  • Collect required minimum documentation to move the application to Initial Underwriting
  • Collect all required fees from the consumer (Loan Application Fee, etc.)
  • Responsibility for locking loans in their pipeline
  • Highly engaged with the client throughout the loan process, from point of origination through to closing of the transaction
  • Attend local functions (Realtor meetings, industry functions, etc.) as required to build mortgage referral relationships and refer other qualified leads to the appropriate Fremont Bank department
  • Attend Fremont Bank events as required
  • Complete internal/external reports and documents as required
  • Review and Analyze applications for pre-approvals
