About The Position

As a Relationship Banker, you’ll play a key role in helping our customers reach their financial goals while building lasting relationships within the Algoma community. You’ll provide personalized banking and lending solutions, identify opportunities to strengthen relationships, and ensure every customer interaction reflects the warmth and integrity that define Bank of Luxemburg. This is a full-time, onsite position working Monday through Friday, with a rotating Saturday schedule.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of banking, lending, or similar customer service experience required.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities; attention to detail and comfort working with confidential information.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to obtain credit, life, and disability insurance licenses.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred; bank-related courses a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships through genuine conversations and tailored financial solutions.
  • Open and maintain personal and business deposit accounts, assist with loan applications, and guide customers through banking products and services.
  • Originate and process consumer loans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service from application to closing.
  • Actively identify cross-selling and referral opportunities to connect customers with mortgage, commercial, and financial services teams.
  • Support daily branch operations by performing teller transactions, handling inquiries, and maintaining operational accuracy.
