About The Position
Centra Credit Union, established in 1940 and headquartered in Columbus, Indiana, is seeking a full-time Relationship Advisor I for its Seymour, IN branch. Centra is among the top five largest credit unions in Indiana and is recognized for its financial soundness, serving members across central and southern Indiana, as well as in Jamestown, NY, and Whitakers, NC. The Relationship Advisor is responsible for engaging members in meaningful conversations, advising on lending and financial products and services, and educating them on financial solutions. This role also involves performing member account transactions and ensuring compliance with branch safety and security policies. The position includes a structured Learning Path for skill development, allowing progression from Relationship Advisor I through Relationship Advisor III, with further career development opportunities in Retail Operations or other paths. Centra offers a starting wage of $24.42 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Spanish/English interpreters may also be eligible for an interpreting differential.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
Responsibilities
- Creates value by engaging Members during discussion and transactions while educating and advising Members on products, services, and lending.
- Proactively engages with Members in problem solving, providing immediate and thoughtful consultation for tailored solutions.
- Ensures own accountability for subject matter expertise in products and services, problem solving and financial literacy to continually grow skills required for Member engagement.
- Engages in required Learning Path for continued development and growth and obtains Centra certification.
