Requirements

• Underwriting expertise across various insurance types (life, casualty, etc.)
• Familiarity with lending and banking principles
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Proven experience in reinsurance underwriting and retrocession strategy
• Ability to collaborate on product development with insurance partners
• Skilled in supporting claims processes with brokers and retrocessionaires
• Experience in risk identification and mitigation within reinsurance operations

Responsibilities

• Review and assess information from client proposal forms.
• Reference internal data to evaluate existing policy volumes for similar risk categories.
• Utilize advanced data analysis tools to determine acceptable risk thresholds.
• Draft insurance quotes and calculate appropriate premium levels.
• Develop and document policy terms and conditions.
• Communicate with brokers and clients to clarify coverage details and risk assessments.
