The Reimbursement Team Lead is a hands-on leader who provides ongoing mentorship and support to assigned team members while remaining highly engaged in daily departmental operations. This role is responsible for completing reimbursement tasks alongside the team and meeting or exceeding established productivity and quality standards. The Team Lead assigns daily work and sets priorities to ensure accurate and timely completion of assignments, offers hands-on guidance by answering questions and resolving issues promptly, and supports team members in achieving performance expectations. In addition, the Team Lead conducts ad-hoc quality spot checks to ensure quality metrics are met and serves as a content expert for assigned laboratory tests, assisting with the development of custom letters and training materials.
