Key Responsibilities include: Provides administrative and operational support to ensure efficient departmental workflow. This role is responsible for reviewing incoming correspondence, accurately categorizing and saving documents. The Support Specialist reviews reports to identify errors or discrepancies and makes necessary corrections to ensure data accuracy. Updating and maintaining departmental worklists to support productivity and timely task completion. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical School / 1 Year College Preferred
  • 0-1 years healthcare experience, 1-3 years preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with payers, clinicians, vendors, HIM and other employees.
  • Ability to read and interpret medical records is required.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and writing.
  • Customer focused, providing service consistently exceeding expectations to both internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required.
