About The Position

Work Schedule: This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Applicants hired into this position can work from most states. We are seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to: Process transplant claims, payments, adjustments, refunds, denials, and unpaid insurance balances. Follow up with third party payers and patients on outstanding account balances (including credit balances) to facilitate prompt resolution of outstanding account balances. Verify patient coverage information and update registration as required. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • 2 years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or clinic operations role Required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field Preferred
  • Epic experience
  • Three years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle, specific to area of expertise (I.e. transplant, research, or client billing) Preferred
