Responsibilities Your Role: Reimbursement Specialist (In-Office) In this essential role, you’ll help drive our revenue cycle by navigating insurance appeals, resolving outstanding balances, and ensuring timely reimbursements. You’ll be part of a collaborative team where your contributions truly matter.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of medical collections experience.
  • Proficiency with EOBs, CPT, and ICD-10 codes.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with fast and accurate data entry skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Pursue outstanding insurance claims with determination and persistence.
  • Draft and submit persuasive appeal letters to overturn denials.
  • Decode Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with insurers to file appeals and negotiate resolutions.
  • Share insights and performance updates with the Collections Manager.
  • Provide solutions to management for recurring payer issues.
