About The Position

The RSM will be responsible for managing a team of rehabilitation professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in rehabilitation services management
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and healthcare industry trends
• Strong financial management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and achieve financial goals
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the rehabilitation services department
• Manage and supervise a team of rehabilitation professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and excellent customer service
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation services and make recommendations for improvement
• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state and federal regulations
• Manage the department budget and ensure financial performance goals are met
• Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of rehabilitation staff
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a positive work environment and fostering professional growth and development
