Job Duties This position will report to Gallipolis Developmental Center Coordinate & review on a statewide basis, rehabilitation &/or habilitation programs for licensed facilities, providers certified under Home & Community-Based Service (HCBS) Waiver, providers certified as Supported Living Providers & accreditation reviews of County Boards of DD; Monitors & implements standards to ensure compliance with federal & state regulations; Conduct reviews in accordance with the department’s quality framework - includes on-site reviews of facilities, interviews with individuals, guardians, provider & county board staff, review of records, documentation & billing of services to identify areas where individuals achieve positive outcomes, where improvement of services is indicated & to ensure that licensed/certified providers & county boards maintain licensing/certification &/or accreditation standards in accordance with applicable federal & state statutes, administrative rules, regulations & procedures. Prepares & coordinates responses to inquiries &/or complaints which may arise. Develops & writes reports in accordance with office procedures; Procure federal dollars prepares correspondence to document, explain & implement programs. Evaluate delivery of services provided by County Boards of DD. Advises providers & county boards on matters related to interpretation & implementation of applicable rules & regulations. Provides technical assistance to county board & providers on all aspects of compliance, quality assurance & accreditation. Represents department in training sessions & conferences to exchange & communicate relevant information to improve licensure, certification & accreditation process. Performs other duties as assigned.
