Summary Promotes enhanced collaboration and quality of care by working under the direction of Rehab Leadership and the Clinical Team Leader to provide direct patient care associated with clinical licensure and specialty. Assists in the orientation and mentorship of staff. Assists in the facilitation and completion of ongoing and annual staff competencies. Assists in the completion of performance improvement and department specific initiatives to improve quality and optimize work flows. Fosters staff education and evidence based practice. Facilitates seamless transitions of care throughout the rehabilitation continuum. Job Duties Models treatment approach by utilizing current evidence based practice and healthcare trends while providing direct patient care. Applies research in practice via direct patient care, sharing findings with co-workers and/or professional community, collecting data, and facilitating involvement in current and future performance improvement projects. Assists with the development clinical competencies, continuing education activities, treatment protocols, and clinical practice guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • 2 years Clinical experience and Board Certification
  • Ability to function independently, flexible, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with staff and patients.
  • Ability to teach clinical skills.
  • Skill in monitoring/assessing the performance of self, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
  • PT - Licensed Physical Therapist - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or SLP - Licensed Speech Language Pathologist - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or OT - Licensed Occupational Therapist - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Nice To Haves
