The Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) is the state’s lead division serving people with disabilities, committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and racial justice. The mission of the Division is to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their goals of employment, education, and independent living. This position coordinates customer case records and documents in a field office pertaining to the service delivery activities to customers in the Customer and Community Blind Services /Vocational Rehabilitation Program. The role involves performing keyboarding and other routine clerical tasks essential to securing and maintaining sensitive case files, records, and documentation (both electronic and hardcopy), and facilitating the purchase and delivery of services, in accordance with federal, state, and agency rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and current operating practices. The coordinator works with the agency’s case management system, monitors customer case status, prepares annotated reports for counselors, and interacts with field office staff and internal and external customers in person, by phone, and/or email. The position demonstrates a commitment to valuing diversity, equity, accessibility, and racial justice by contributing to an inclusive working environment and requires travel in the performance of duties.
