About The Position

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Rehab Coordinator position. The Rehab Coordinator is responsible for coordination of all Rehab team equipment set-ups and staff scheduling as directed. The Rehab Coordinator acts as a liaison between Norco ATPs, Rehab Specialist and Technicians, and their customers and referral sources to trouble shoot questions and problems and assure excellent communication is maintained. Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent. Previous home care experience preferred
Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a caring, personable manner
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including phone demeanor
Excellent office skills (Microsoft Office)
Ability to learn new equipment and technologies quickly
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Ability to perform basic mathematics calculations

Nice To Haves

Previous home care experience preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate team schedules and patient set-ups, answer and route rehab staff/patient communications
Schedule rehab staff to optimize workflows
Work with patients, physicians, therapists and referral sources to optimize the equipment needs for customers
Understand payer requirements for equipment and be able to clearly communicate them to customers
Perform insurance verification and obtain necessary documentation for equipment coverage
Stay well informed of industry updates and Medicare changes, particularly those related to rehab
Assist with rehab sales support and in-services within a defined region, as necessary
Assist customer service staff to coordinate rehab related discharges
Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
