In this role you will supervise and direct all respiratory care delivered by Respiratory Therapy Section personnel to ensure quality of patient care, adherence to policy and the promotion of academic change. Patients who see us are local, national, and international. They come to us with various concerns regarding their pulmonary health. Our goal is to ease their fears, educate them to improve understanding, and care for those needing assistance. We take pride in how we strive to meet these goals. A caregiver in this position works days Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of respiratory therapy
• Current State of Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• 3 years of experience in critical care and experience in which leadership and teaching skills have been demonstrated

Responsibilities

• Provide all forms of resp education to both patients and advanced caregivers (doctors)
• Ensure services/programs adhere to TQI principles.
• Evaluate and share quality data with customers for continuous process improvement.
• Identify areas to improve customer satisfaction and respond with action plans to improve results.
• Assist the Education Coordinator with the development of an ongoing program of orientation, training and continuing education for staff.
• Perform the duties of a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
