About The Position

This position is located within the Doral office and Fort Lauderdale of the Division of Florida Condominium, Timeshares and Mobile Homes and reports to the Bureau Chief of Public Engagement. This position is responsible for customer service functions within the Bureau of Public Engagement.

Requirements

  • Must have two (2) years of customer service experience or two (2) years of post-high school education.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to travel for training and meetings as assigned.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally & in writing, ability to mentor individuals, ability to investigate, analyze and route DHR related complaints as needed.
  • Ability to understand and explain statutes, rules and regulations.
  • Computer Skills.
  • Knowledge of the CCC and Department's systems including the licensing database and document imaging system.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Knowledge of the techniques for handling complaints and dealing with the public.
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, policies and procedures regarding licensure and regulation of professionals, and ensure consumer protection as it relates to the professions we regulate.

Responsibilities

  • Inquiries through calls, walk-ins, escalations, trackers, emails, and other governmental entities.
  • Utilizes the department's licensing and imaging systems and is knowledgeable in statutory laws and rules relating to the division's program areas to assist in the resolution of inquiries.
  • Formulates plans and strategies in collaboration with management to resolve complex constituent inquiries.
  • Preparing written responses to constituent inquiries.
  • Generates and maintains accurate documentation and files in response to public inquiries.
  • Provides appropriate resources and referrals in response to inquiries from the public.
  • Participates in staff meetings and training sessions with the Bureau of Public Engagement and the Bureau of Compliance, if necessary.
  • Reviews all incoming emails related to procedural updates affecting Bureau processes and procedures.
  • Follows Bureau standards and procedures as directed by supervisor.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
