Regulatory Reporting Analyst Remote | Hourly (Non-Exempt) Pay: $34.00–$44.00 per hour Reports to: Project Manager Do spreadsheets make you happy? Do deadlines motivate you? What You’ll Be Doing As a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you’ll play a critical behind-the-scenes role supporting environmental remediation projects across the country.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in the environmental or oil & gas industry
  • Strong technical writing skills and an eye for detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting tools
  • Ability to interpret and apply environmental regulations
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Secure, distraction-free home office and reliable high-speed internet required

Nice To Haves

  • Background as a Geologist, Engineer, or Scientist in environmental remediation
  • Familiarity with state-level environmental regulations
  • Project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and submitting regulatory reports to the EPA, state DEQs, and local agencies
  • Compiling, validating, and interpreting environmental data (soil, groundwater, air, surface water)
  • Translating technical monitoring results into clear, compliant narratives, tables, and summaries
  • Managing reporting calendars to ensure deadlines are met—every time
  • Tracking project milestones and including progress updates in reports
  • Collaborating with engineers, scientists, labs, consultants, and project managers
  • Maintaining organized records for compliance and audit readiness
