Role description: Arcadis is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our North America Product Stewardship & Sustainability team. Based in Michigan, reporting up to 3 days/week to a client office in Auburn Hills, MI. This full-time role involves regulatory compliance tasks with occasional local travel. This role will sit within the larger Global Resilience Business Area. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Around the world, we’re feeling the effects climate change, rapid urbanization, loss of biodiversity. The rate at which we’re seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires, is becoming more frequent. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product stewardship or chemical/materials regulatory compliance.
  • BS in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of U.S. compliance regulations (EPR, TSCA, California Proposition 65) and automotive industry standards.
  • Experience with hazard classifications and labeling (UN GHS, US OSHA).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Trello.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance.
  • Monitor global EPR regulations and ensure program alignment.
  • Manage EPR compliance data systems and audits; drive program process improvements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for reporting, prepare reports, and communicate trends to management.
  • Creating presentations and supporting the design and implementation of effective training programs.
