The Regulatory and Legal Analyst ensures company compliance with federal, state, and local rules, regulations, and statutes. Reviews, interprets, and summarizes rules and regulations for senior management. Reviews and responds to court orders and other legal requests. Drafts documents and correspondence. Reconciles company subscriber and financial records. Works closely with outside consultants, attorneys, and regulatory bodies to develop company cost studies, review and negotiate contracts, file company tariffs, and address consumer complaints.
