About The Position

" Opportunity Snapshot: Compensation: $40-50/hour Location: Midland, TX Assignment Duration: 12 months+ Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours Benefits: Comprehensive insurance , 401(k), Holidays and PTO Responsibilities Support to asset teams in completing and submitting regulatory filings including but not limited to drilling permits, completions, recompletions, flare permits, commingle permits, and injection permits with all associated forms Research and assist to resolve all compliance issues Maintain in-house tracking systems with current information Request and review as drilled plats provided by the survey company Distribute filings to teams and departments as needed Assist with review of assets for compliance issues during acquisitions and divestitures Work with service company to obtain, review and file W-15’s Complete all data collection for completion packets Assess and resolve violation notices for assigned area Specifically Railroad Commission Forms W2 Oil Completion Packet, G1 Gas Completion Packet, P17 Commingle, P17A, Commingle, ST1 HCG Tax Designation and associated forms. Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred Minimum of four (4) years of experience comprehending and interpreting State and Federal rules and regulations. 3 years experience in RRC regulatory Minimum of four (4) years of experience filing State and Federal Documents Prior Permian Basin experience. Familiar with oilfield terminology and operations Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with various regulatory agencies Must be able to communicate clearly and influence other departments and discuss issues that may arise Must be able to apply knowledge and use critical thinking skills to achieve work responsibilities Must be able to work independently with little direction Ability to problem solve and multi-task under tight schedule constraints, work on multiple projects concurrently, manage varying priorities and tasks, and adapt quickly to rapidly changing events, meeting deadlines with attention given to detail High School diploma or equivalent Specifically Railroad Commission Forms W2 Oil Completion Packet, G1 Gas Completion Packet, P17 Commingle, P17A, Commingle, ST1 HCG Tax Designation and associated forms. Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience comprehending and interpreting State and Federal rules and regulations.
  • 3 years experience in RRC regulatory
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience filing State and Federal Documents
  • Prior Permian Basin experience.
