About The Position

Performs a range of administrative tasks primarily aimed at registering clients in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organization and time management skills; ability to multitask.
  • Intermediate computer skills; knowledge of Electronic Health Record (HER); experience with insurance
  • Adhere to acceptable professional/clinical boundaries and confidentiality
  • Intermediate administrative clerical skills (e.g. general office duties, reception and record keeping)
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work proactively both independently and as a team.
  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in administrative role

Responsibilities

  • Open clients in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • Complete Job & Family Services Medicaid Application as needed
  • Enter initial insurance verification and payer into EHR systems
  • Enroll clients into county board systems and upload supporting payers
  • Scan registration documents into the client records into EHR systems
  • Collect payment upon registration as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
