About The Position

The City of St. Peters is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Registration Specialist to support operations at our Cultural Arts Centre. In this role, you will assist patrons with program registrations, facility reservations, and general inquiries while ensuring a welcoming and organized front desk environment. Your responsibilities will include handling transactions, maintaining records, training front desk staff, and providing outstanding customer service to guests. Normal Shift: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This is a part-time position and may occasionally require evening and weekend hours based on scheduled events. Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker.
  • High School graduate or GED certificate.
  • Must be able to type 30 cwpm.
  • First Aid and CPR/AED certification or obtain within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Process program and membership registrations, facility reservations, and payments.
  • Operate a point-of-sale register, monitor cash drawers, and assist with balancing.
  • Maintain inventory of front desk and check-in station supplies.
  • Educate guests on facility policies, programs.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and correspondence.
  • Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
  • Develop and implement new procedures to improve front desk operations.
