About The Position

Position Summary: Insures all patient demographics are entered correctly into hospital system. Explains all consents and forms and obtains signatures. Directs patient to the correct clinical area. Orders testing.

Requirements

1-2 years experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Requires excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and email.
High School, GED or equivalent preferred.
Must be 18 years or older.
Continual contact with others.
95% direct patient contact, other 5% with internal health care staff requiring tact, discretion and persuasion in order to reach Department goals.

Nice To Haves

Customer relations training a plus.
Medical Terminology and Anatomy preferred.
