Registration Clerk (Part-time)
About The Position
The Elmhurst Park District, established in 1920 and located 16 miles west of Chicago, provides parks, recreation facilities and programs to meet our mission of enriching lives while having fun. We have an exciting part-time job opportunity as REGISTRATION CLERK ! We are looking for clerks who have strong customer service skills and are comfortable multi-tasking between answering phones and processing registrations. Current and new program participants will look to you for assistance in registering for recreational programs and activities!
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent with at least 1 years of customer service experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Listening to customer's questions/concerns/complaints (in person or over the phone), assist them or direct them to the appropriate manager if necessary.
- Communicating information to other registration/office clerks as needed.
- Processing program registrations and withdrawals.
- Processing pool pass registrations and create pool pass ID cards
- Booking parties, field trips, and picnic permits
- Assisting with class cancellations/expansions
- Maintaining filing system and an organized workspace
- Running daily report for batching out, and make daily bank deposits
- Printing and posting daily class schedules.
- Maintaining cash box and safe.
