Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to type 45wpm preferred
- Medical Terminology preferred
- Knowledge of Insurance Verification/Authorization requirement preferred
- Experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- The Registration Associate is responsible for the accurate intake of patient information and input into the hospital computer system to create patient accounts.
- Insurance verification and identification within the computer system is vital in the accurate billing of every patient account.
- Registration Associates must secure patient signatures and copies of patient ID’s and insurance cards.
