Requirements

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • At least two years of experience in general office work with an emphasis in records management, student registration, or a related area
  • Knowledge of the college and university registration process
  • Ability to explain and interpret registration policies and procedures
  • Ability to maintain student academic records
  • Ability to compile information into report form
  • Ability to analyze documents to determine compliance with rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing

Nice To Haves

  • At least one to three years of customer service experience
  • Work experience in an academic setting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • The Registration and Records Assistant is responsible for processing and maintaining academic records and student information associated with registration activities, transfer credit evaluations within an institution of higher education.
  • Other duties are assigned.
  • Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job function of this job, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
