Also, you will have the opportunity to champion the change by joining in our mission of healing through humankindness. Acts as a resource for the Patient Access Department within their facility. Assist with hiring. Responsible for training new staff, auditing charts, and process/policy implementation. Prepares monthly schedule for the department. Assist Facility Administrator and patient access supervisor at their request. Courteously and Professionally greet patients. Obtain accurate demographic insurance information. Correctly code and verify insurance coverage. Collect estimated patient responsibility or screen patient for assistance programs. Answer all incoming calls to the facility. Provide assistance to patients presenting or calling with billing questions. Process medical records requests.
