Requirements

Valid California RVT license or eligibility for licensure. Salary is dependent upon experience.
Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and animal care practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team members.
Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting preferred.
Proficient in using veterinary software and technology.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Perform dental prophys on cats and dogs, including mouth xrays and extractions.
Assist veterinarians in treating animals with various medical conditions.
Perform routine vaccinations, and preventative care for pets.
Administer medications, anesthesia, and monitor patients during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary protocols.
Educate pet owners on health, nutrition, and wellness practices.
Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
Provide compassionate care and support to both animals and their owners.
Collaborate with the veterinary team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
