The Registered Veterinary Technician role is an exciting opportunity to play a key part on the Community Medicine Team of one of the oldest animal welfare organizations in the country. The Registered Veterinary Technician plays a vital part in supporting the community, especially for those clients and animals who may not have another accessible option for care. The Registered Veterinary Technician is responsible for assisting veterinarians in the delivery of services and care, including surgical and dental procedures, as well as performing highly skilled procedures independently. Through dedicated teamwork, this position has a direct positive impact on animal welfare in the local community. An RVT must have a current license registered in good standing with the California Veterinary Medical Board. East Bay SPCA is a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to the welfare of dogs and cats in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
