About The Position

The Registered Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures as ordered by physician, using professional judgement to recognize conditions requiring technical intervention. Performs other duties assigned by department management according to policies and procedures and the mission of Woman's Hospital. Requirements

  • Requires completion of an accredited program of Ultrasound Technology.
  • Six months experience as a registered sonographer preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of ultrasound physics and human anatomy is required.
  • Competency-based knowledge in clinical ultrasound.
  • Computer skills and good interpersonal skills are needed.
