Job Summary Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care, respond to emergency codes, maintain equipment readiness, and support patient/family education in collaboration with physicians and nursing.

Requirements

  • Arkansas license (RRT or CRT) and BLS; ACLS within required timeframe.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent acute-care respiratory care experience; advanced certifications (e.g., NRP, PALS).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and bronchial hygiene; perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
  • Manage and troubleshoot ventilators and non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP) per protocol; document in the electronic health record (Meditech).
  • Assist with crash cart maintenance and support patient/family respiratory education.
  • Provide shift leadership/charge support as assigned; coordinate with the care team.
  • Support emergent procedures with physicians and nurses as needed.
