About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a leading acute care healthcare facility serving the Leon and Gadsden County region. This 288-bed hospital offers a highly advanced clinical environment, including a Behavioral Health Center, Level II NICU, Chest Pain Center, and comprehensive Heart & Vascular services. Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent
  • Current NBRC certification and State Licensure as an RRT
  • Required certifications within 30–60 days of hire: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of clinical experience (new graduates or CRTs eligible if RRT-eligible or certified)

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and monitor airway status
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy
  • Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation support
  • Assist with airway management and respond to emergency resuscitation situations
  • Conduct diagnostic testing and evaluate patient response to respiratory therapies
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to adjust treatment plans
  • Provide care in specialized units including NICU and Chest Pain Center
