About The Position

Want to be a member of an interdisciplinary team that is patient focused ? Working daily with all types of adult patients from cardiac to trauma to ortho and neuro. We focus on the patient returning home at their maximum level of abilities. As a nurse you have frequent interactions with the patient and family providing immediate care and education for a successful transition home . The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Registered Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
RN license active in the state of Missouri
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
Exhibits valuable time management skills
Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Previous nursing experience
